Technology and Security

A unique decision-support tool for rare disease patients that protects your personal data and Protected Health Information (PHI).

Safe and Secure!

At FDNA Telehealth, protecting patient information is our utmost priority.
To do this, we take a number of steps regarding the use and storage of images uploaded to our app:

Converting all uploaded images into a de-identified copy of the face. This is the digital data that will be used for the FDNA Telehealth analysis. The patient photo is then protected as personal health information (PHI).
The original patient photos are treated as personal health information (PHI). To better protect them, they are encrypted and saved separately. They are only accessible to you as the patient and to healthcare professionals approved by you. Images may only be shared with medical professionals with your prior approval. More details on this can be found in our Data Sharing Policy.
We only use de-identified images for analysis in our software.
Our security and privacy politics are compliant with HIPAA and the latest directives from the European Union regarding your data's privacy. We also adhere to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Over 400 million people are living with a rare disease globally, but most of them are misdiagnosed or paused within their diagnostic odyssey. Get a faster and more accurate analysis with FDNA Telehealth.
